Nautilus Inc., maker of Stairmaster and Bowflex fitness equipment, has completed its purchase of fitness clothing maker called Pearl IZumi USA for $74 million. The price includes assumption of $5.4 million in debt, and the rest was paid in cash, according to a news release.

Geoff Weber, a 37-year-old Navy Intelligence Officer, today broke a Guinness World Record running on a new Nautilus treadmill at the 2005 IDEA World Fitness Convention. Weber shattered the 50 kilometer world record with a time of three hours, 41 minutes and 53 seconds, beating the previous record by nearly three minutes.
